How this converter works

Select a time and timezone, then see what that time is in other zones. The tool covers major timezones including UTC, US time zones (ET, CT, MT, PT), European zones (GMT, CET, EET), and Asia-Pacific zones (IST, JST, AEST). It accounts for daylight saving time where applicable.

When you'd use this

  • Scheduling meetings with people in different time zones
  • Figuring out what time a deployment window is in your local time
  • Converting between UTC (used in logs and APIs) and your local time
  • Planning around business hours in another region

Timezone tips

UTC never changes for daylight saving, which is why it's used for servers and logs. The US has four main zones (Eastern, Central, Mountain, Pacific) that shift by one hour each. India uses a single timezone (IST, UTC+5:30) with a 30-minute offset. Australia has three zones and some observe daylight saving while others don't. When in doubt, communicate times in UTC.
