The short version: loot.tools doesn't collect your data because it has nowhere to put it. There's no backend, no database, and no account. Here's exactly what that means.
Every tool runs in your browser with JavaScript. What you type, paste, or upload is processed on your machine and is never sent to us or anyone else. There's no server to receive it.
There's no sign-up, no login, and no tracking scripts. We don't set advertising cookies, run an analytics service, or build a profile of who you are or what you do here.
Your theme choice, favorites, and recently used tools are kept in your browser's local storage so the site remembers them between visits. They stay on this device and never reach a server. Clear them any time from your browser, or with the Clear button on the Recently used row.
To match the site's look the page loads the Plus Jakarta Sans web font from Google Fonts, which sees the request like any file download. That's the only third party the page talks to, and it never receives anything you enter into a tool.
