Split PDF

Upload a PDF, type the pages you want (like 1-3, 5, 8-), and get a new PDF with just those pages, kept in the order you list them. It all runs locally - your document is never uploaded to a server.

Pull a page range out of a PDF into a new file. Pages are kept in the order you list them, all in your browser - nothing is uploaded.

What this tool does

After you upload a PDF, it tells you how many pages the file has. Type a mix of single pages and ranges separated by commas - 1-3 grabs the first three pages, 5 grabs page five, and 8- grabs page eight to the end. Leave the box blank to keep every page. The selected pages are written to a fresh PDF in the order you asked for, so you can reorder pages too.

Runs entirely in your browser

The PDF is read and rewritten on your own device using a JavaScript PDF engine, with no server round-trip. That makes it safe for legal documents, medical records, and anything else you'd rather not hand to a website.

When you'd use it

  • Pulling a single signed page out of a long contract
  • Trimming a scanned document down to the pages that matter
  • Splitting a large report into per-section files
  • Removing blank or duplicate pages by listing only the ones you want to keep
