Image Cropper

Crop a photo or screenshot down to the part you want. Drag a selection on the image or type exact pixel coordinates, lock it to a ratio like 1:1 or 16:9, then download as PNG, JPEG, or WebP. Nothing is uploaded - it all runs locally.

Crop an image down to the part you want. Drag a selection on the preview or type exact pixel coordinates, optionally lock it to a ratio, then download. Everything happens in your browser - nothing is uploaded.

What this tool does

Upload an image, then pick the region to keep by dragging a box on the preview or entering exact X, Y, width, and height in pixels. Lock the selection to a fixed aspect ratio (1:1, 16:9, 4:3, or 3:2) when you need a consistent shape, or leave it free. The cropped result previews live and downloads as PNG, JPEG, or WebP.

When you'd use this

  • Make a square avatar or thumbnail from a larger photo
  • Trim the dead space around a screenshot
  • Cut a banner to a 16:9 ratio
  • Pull one detail out of a bigger image
  • Quick crops that don't need a full image editor

How it works

The selected region is drawn from the source image onto a canvas sized to the crop, then exported in your chosen format. The selection is measured in the image's own pixels, so the output is the real resolution, not whatever size the preview happens to render at. Because it all runs in your browser, the image never leaves your device.
